Drawn from the sumptuous Bruckner catalogues of both DG and Decca, Deutsche Grammophon presents the ultimate Bruckner set for the bi-centenary celebrations in 2024. Our dear friend and Bruckner expert Harry Gruber has selected some of the greatest Bruckner recordings of all time: Nine reference recordings in their own right, but all with the Bruckner orchestra par excellence: the Wiener Philharmoniker. Each symphony in the set is led by a different conductor from Abbado, Böhm and Boulez, via Muti and Maazel to Karajan and Stein.
