Her songwriting, mostly inspired by her culture and her people the Inuit, is socially driven and addresses many of the issues facing Canadian Aboriginal People.She blends the Inuktitut and English languages with contemporary pop music arrangements to tell the stories of her people, the Inuit of Arctic Canada.
