Debut solo album by the American singer-songwriter, best known for his work in group Steely Dan. Originally released in 1982, 'The Nightfly' incorporates many styles and sounds, including: blues rock, jazz-fusion, jazz-rock, funk and soft rock and enlists the help of a number of production staff and musicians who had played on Steely Dan records.
