Ada and Nosa are twins, living in the 12th century Kingdom of Benin. The siblings were separated at birth and only reunited after spending 12 years apart – that tale is told in the historical fiction, Children of the Benin Kingdom. Now author Dinah Orji has written an historical fantasy, embracing a naive writing style. In this story, Ada and Nosa embark a thrilling adventure, fleeing once again from their enemies. The twins must attempt to bring peace to the kingdom and thwart the “Crocodile Men” who threaten the safety of Edo children. In this fantasy tale, Ada and Nosa must rely on each other – with occasional help from the ancient power of the leopard.
