Drawing from heavy influences such as S.R.V., Hendrix, Clapton, Santana, and Zeppelin the group is propelling rock and roll into the 21st century. Led by guitar phenom and vocalist Nick Diaz, the band creates tightly orchestrated songs that deliver quite a punch of alternative blues rock music. Driven by drummer, Matty Amendola, and bassist, Matt Williams, Weird Old America maintains a rhythm section that seems to be forgotten in many of today's modern groups. Additionally, organist, Van Baram, provides a colorful padding that brings the group together as a cohesive whole.
