Death Comes to Pemberley

Anna Maxwell Martin and Matthew Rhys star in this BBC adaptation of the novel by P.D. James which continues the story of Jane Austen's classic tale 'Pride and Prejudice'. Elizabeth (Martin) and Darcy (Rhys) have been happily married for a number of years and have two young sons. However, when Elizabeth's sister Lydia (Jenna-Louise Coleman) makes a surprise appearance, their life of domestic bliss is thrown into turmoil. The hysterical Lydia brings news of a murder in Pemberley woods. With her husband Wickham (Matthew Goode) implicated, the ensuing investigation threatens to bring the family's affairs to public attention and to unveil secrets that would be better left buried.
