Starring the Barbarian Brothers, also known as Peter and David Paul, The Barbarians was Ruggero Deodato's attempt at muscle-bound sword, sorcery and sandal-wearing fantasy. Twin barbarians, Gore and Kutcheck, set off on a mission to avenge their tribe, The Ragnicks who were brutally massacred years before by an evil warlord simply named Kadar. This amazing looking and engrossing action-packed movie from the much-missed Cannon Group is loaded with montages of oiled-up biceps and clashing blades.
