Phase IV

First the ants attack buildings. Then animals. Then people. A freak cosmic event in the vastness of space has changed the behaviour of some of the smallest creatures on Earth - but what do they want? In a special research laboratory in the middle of the desert, scientist Ernest Hubbs (Nigel Davenport, Ladies Who Do) tries to find out. The answer, however, might be worse than he feared. The only film directed by the legendary Saul Bass, Hollywood's greatest title designer (Vertigo, Psycho, Goodfellas.), Phase IV is one of the major science fiction films of its era and an all-too-relevant picture of nature turning against mankind.
