Henry Levin directs this 1950s American film noir starring John Derek, Lee J. Cobb and Whit Bissell. Criminal lawyer Howard Clark (Cobb) is reeling from the news that his son, David (Derek), has murdered his best friend in an act of self-defence. To complicate matters further, Howard is faced with an impossible decision to make when he discovers he must defend the innocent man accused of the murder.
