Job Summary:
A fantastic opportunity if you’re looking to begin a career in e-commerce with an internationally recognised online retailer, selling over 2 million products across entertainment and home.
As an E-Commerce Assistant, you’ll support the Product Coordinators and wider E-Commerce team in the day-to-day running of the website. You’ll play a key role in ensuring products are live, accurate, and effectively merchandised across categories including music, film, video games, and books.
This is a hands-on, detail-focused role where you’ll gain exposure to product setup, on-site merchandising, email builds, and cross-team collaboration, forming a strong foundation for progression within e-commerce.
You’ll Be:
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail

- Interested in entertainment products (music, film, books, games)
Essential Skills:
- Comfortable using Microsoft Excel (data entry, basic formulas, checking accuracy)
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively
Preferred, but not Essential:
- Previous experience in retail or e-commerce
- Familiarity with content management systems (CMS)
- Basic understanding of product data (e.g. titles, pricing, release dates)
- Interest in digital marketing or email platforms
Key Responsibilities:
- Support Product Coordinators with product setup, ensuring accuracy of data, pricing, and release dates
- Maintain and update product listings and collections across the website
- Assist with on-site merchandising, including category pages, promotions, and featured products
- Carry out regular site checks to ensure products are live, correctly categorised, and visually consistent
- Build and schedule email campaigns using internal tools, working from templates and briefs
- Support the Customer Service team by handling basic product and website queries
- Assist with general website maintenance, including updating imagery, copy, and links
- Work collaboratively with Product, Marketing, and Customer Service teams to support key releases and promotions
Job Details:
Full-time, Office-based, Permanent position (Monday-Friday 09:00-17:30)
Location: Chiswick, London
Salary: Dependent on experience (£25k-27k)
