The Man Who Knew Infinity

Matt Brown directs, writes and co-produces this biographical drama based on the biography of mathematician Srinivasa Ramanujan by Robert Kanigel. Dev Patel stars as Ramanujan, an aspiring academic mathematician from a poor family in Madras, India. He applies to study at Cambridge University during World War I and is accepted. Srinivasa is soon shown to be a prodigal genius and is taken under the wing of Professor G.H. Hardy (Jeremy Irons), but he still faces challenges at Cambridge in the form of racism and prejudice.
