In this case generosity does not pay, because at the end the winner is the biggest skinflint who has managed to hoard the most chips. And for each dice a chip has to be surrendered. However, if as a player you succeed in placing down the dice carefully and even manage to fill up a row, you can also stint on your chips. Because then it is the others who have to pay and you can cash in.
