Mid-price re-release of Wright and Forrest's startling debut operetta 'Song Of Norway', based upon the life and music of Edvard Grieg.

When, in 1944, Wright & Forrest had a Broadway smash with their debut show, Cole Porter famously remarked that "Song Of Norway will make you a million - be performed longer than you live - you need never write another show - and all on your first Broadway try. What great good luck!"

Of course Wright and Forrest went on to write the international hit 'Kismet'. In recent years the writers have found further international success with their musical 'Grand Hotel'.
