Grind

The sensation of the 1985 Broadway season, Grind was awarded seven Tony nominations and eight Drama Desk nominations. Leilani Jones went on to win the Tony Awards for best actress in a musical.

Grind takes place in a burlesque theatre during the Depression Years, the heyday of the art of striptease. It is a traditional back stage musical about spectacle, extravaganza, human emotions and conflicts - the triumph of the human spirit over adversity. Now approaching the musicals 25th Anniversary, this perennial favourite of the musical theatre, will once again be seen to be basking in the light of it's former Broadway and West End glory.
