I'm Getting My Act Together and Taking It on the Road

Re-release of the 1981 London production of the popular musical 'I'm Getting My Act Together And Taking It On The Road'.

Originally opened at The New York Shakespeare Festival Public Theatre in 1978 and was such a hit that it transferred to the Circle In The Square Theatre in Greenwich Village and ran for 1,165 performances. The show attracted such stars as Betty Buckley, Carol Hall, Virginia Vestoff and Phyllis Newman playing the lead role during this run.

This first women's liberation hit musical opened in the West End of London March 31st 1981 starring West End star Diane Langton and film star Ben Cross (Chariots Of Fire). The TER recording of this show captures that Original London Cast in top form and has ensured that whilst in some ways this musical is very much of it's time, it has also transcended that time to become a classic staple of music theatre to this day.
