The people of Yrred are scared to death of monsters.

Angry citizens have promised to deal with them once and for all. And a new rule bans books about monsters from the library, leading quickly to more sinister threats.

Frank and his monster friends must stay hidden. Frank knows the monsters have good hearts—like his own monster inside—but their community is in terrible danger.

A showdown between monsters and humans is inescapable. And Frank must decide what to say and what to keep inside. The Monster and the Library is a thrilling adventure about right and wrong—and about having a secret and finding the courage to tell it.
