Mark Nevin's 6th solo album takes its title from the opening track 'Somewhere in My Dreams', an epic hymn to the summer fairs and village greens of England. Co-produced with his long term collaborator and ex-Fairground Attraction band-mate Simon Edwards and recorded and mixed by the legendary Phill Brown (Bob Marley, Talk Talk, Robert Palmer), this is Nevin's most raucous record and the first to feature Paul Cuddeford on lead guitar. Cuddeford, who stands in the place once occupied by Mick Ronson alongside Tony Visconti and Woody Woodmansey in Holy Holy, the band responsible for keeping the legacy of David Bowie's music alive, brings a new energy to Nevin's music, injecting tracks like 'A Fish Needs a Bike' and 'A Cathedral Collapsed' with his Ronsonesque brilliance.
