One of the pioneers of the rock & roll movement - his pounding piano, the high voice and trills, and the sexually suggestive lyrics catapulted the former Richard Penniman to the top of the charts and to mythical status. Little Richard remains a living legend, frequently appearing in movies and television commercials.
