Mikhail Jurowski conducts the Teatro alla Scala company in this 2011 production of Aleksandr Glazunov's ballet. Olesia Novikova, Friedemann Vogel and Mick Zeni are the lead dancers in the performance, which attempts to stay as faithful as possible to the work's premiére in St. Petersburg in 1898, with painstaking recreations of the original sets and costumes.
