un uomo d'affari che si crede rovinato incarica un amico di ucciderlo. la sua morte permettera' alla moglie di incassare una forte assicurazione. poco dopo, pero', la sua situazione finanziaria migliora ed egli, benche' non riesca a rintracciare l'amico per evitare che lo uccida, sfugge miracolosamente ad alcuni attentati. gli autori sono proprio la consorte e il suo amante, che faranno una brutta fine.
