·Six structured in-class assessment tasks offer additional practice questions for every topic and assist teachers with formative assessment throughout the stage, helping pinpoint where extra support may be needed.

·Assessment tasks begin with multiple-choice questions to build confidence and check pupil understanding, before gradually increasing in difficulty to ensure all students make good progress.

·Supports students’ comprehension with questions in every assessment task written to address the Cambridge Thinking and Working Mathematically component, probing students to justify answers and provide clear explanations.

·Self-assessment sheets allow learners to reflect on their own progress and identify where they need to improve.

·Two end-of-year assessments, including one non-calculator paper and one calculator paper, provide a summative assessment opportunity to help learners prepare for internal school assessment or Checkpoint, and build confidence for the non-calculator paper at IGCSE.

The Progress Book has not been through the endorsement process for the Cambridge Pathway.
