Both parts of the reimagined children's television drama based on the books by Barbara Euphan Todd. In 'The Scarecrow of Scatterbrook' Susan (India Brown) and John (Thierry Wickens) arrive in the village of Scatterbrook and meet the Scarecrow of Ten Acre Field, Worzel Gummidge (Mackenzie Crook). When Worzel comes to life, an incredible adventure begins. In 'The Green Man' a strange character called The Green Man (Michael Palin) comes to Scatterbrook, who gives Worzel a stern word about interacting with real people.
