A premiere recording of Pergolesi's first opera, staged at the Teatro G. B. Pergolesi, Jesi in 2011. Set in ancient Rome, the story follows Salustia, wife of the Roman emperor Alessandro, as she battles against the machinations of her mother-in-law Giulia. Corrado Rovaris leads the Accademia Barocca de I Musici Italiani, and performers include Vittorio Prato, Serena Malfi and Laura Polverelli.
