The Sheltering Sky

American couple Port and Kit Noresby (John Malkovich and Debra Winger) journey to North Africa, hoping that travel will save their failing marriage. But these hopes are short lived, for while Port visits local prostitutes, Kit starts an affair with their travelling companion (Campbell Scott), thereby putting reconciliation even further beyond their reach.
