Sword of the Stranger

Animated feature directed by Masahiro Ando. For reasons unknown to him, young orphan Kotarou (voice of Yuuri Chinen) finds himself being hunted by agents of the Chinese Ming dynasty. Wandering with his dog Tobimaru and with no choice but to steal in order to survive, Kotarou would be helpless were it not for the intervention of the ronin Nanashi (Tomoya Nagase). Though reluctant at first, the wandering samurai joins the orphan and his dog and protects them from the sinister intentions of the Ming assassins.
