The Nutty Professor

Jerry Lewis directed, co-wrote and starred in this riotously funny Jekyll and Hyde-inspired tale that set a new standard for the genre (and later became the hit remake). Lewis plays a timid, nearsighted chemistry teacher who discovers a magical potion that transforms him into a suave, handsome player. Everything's going great, until the concoction dissipates into embarrassing moments.
