In the fall of 2013 Vanderlinde joined Fish (ex Marillon) on an extensive tour of multiple European countries. In 2014 a tour with Bobby Kimball (Toto) is in the works. The well-oiled machine of Vanderlinde just recorded their new album 'Southbound Train', again in de USA with producer Erwin Musper (David Bowie, Def Leppard, Van Halen, Anouk, Scorpions) in his studio The Bamboo Room. To celebrate the first ten years, this album will feature 15 new songs and some extra's. Vanderlinde's music is best described as a pure and open soundscape, surprising as well as comfortably familiar. If you're looking for a reference, artists like Crowded House and Jason Mraz come to mind. Arjan Vanderlinde, the namesake and bass player \/ guitarist\/lead vocalist is also the principal songwriter. He surrounds himself with excellent musicians who bring his songs to life - in the studio as well as on stage. Some of the outstanding players are Wietze Koning (guitar), Bart Schwertmann (guitar and vocals) and Peter ten Wolde (drums).
