But what they don’t know is that they are part of a system Eliot has devised that will allow him to build his own private professional army that can be assigned to any mission he wants. One day, Romulus gets a mission during which he and his team blow up a house and with it about half a dozen civilians. After this, Romulus feels that both CIA and Mossad agents are after him. He must find out that Eliot betrayed both his and Remus’ trust right from the start. Eliot was simply using them and others similarly raised and recruited to support a secret pact made after World War II between top-secret British, French, Russian, German and American agents. According to the pact, no nation should be more advanced in any field than the others, so the conspirators try to maintain the status quo, both economically and politically.
