This DVT is compatible with BR Intercity Mk4 coaches and a BR Intercity Class 91 locomotive.The BR InterCity Mk4 DVT was designed to work with Mk4 carriages on the East Coast Main Line as a driver control car working in push-pull mode with Class 91 electric locomotives on InterCity 225 trains. Introduced in 1990, the DVT would normally be marshalled at the south end of the train, adjacent to the First Class carriages. The model is finished in the classic 1990s InterCity ˜Swallow livery of white with a dark grey mid-section and a lower red band, with full yellow ends.
