Sever Reissue of the third album by Wrocław's Job Karma, which was originally released in 2003 in Italy by Amplexus rec. in a limited edition of 470 copies. The album has undergone a new mastering (Marcin Bociński, 2019). JOB KARMA A Wrocław audiovisual project founded in 1997. The group consists of Maciej Frett and Aureliusz Pisarzewski, while Arkadiusz Bagiński is responsible for the visual side. The band originates from the post-industrial scene, but with each album the musicians expand their penetration into an increasingly wider field of dark electronics - from ambient, to techno, dark wave and EBM. One common denominator remains - their music, as critics emphasize, is "A FILM FOR THE EARS", very plastic and visual, it is the perfect soundtrack to a non-existent film. In their suggestive live performances - for which the group became famous - they combine music with elements of animation and video art, showing in them the relations between man and machine and man and the sacred, as well as the slow decline of all values, at the expense of the progressive commercialization of the everyday functioning of the individual and societies. Since 2001, Frett and Bagiński, under the banner of Industrial Art, have been organizing the WROCŁAW INDUSTRIAL FESTIVAL, one of the most important concert events currently popularizing contemporary varieties of industrial music and culture and dark electronics. "Known for various incarnations on the album Job Karma released in Italy, they focus on aesthetics, which has become their flagship specialty. They are masters of films for the ears. The material perfectly creates the atmosphere of a disturbing, understated radio play. Using the experience of industrial, electroacoustic music and electronics, the band places them in a completely modern setting: very spatial, with originally muffled sounds." Rafał Księżyk / /Antena Krzyku “Ebola is a rare specimen in the world of music to which it belongs - an album that is not only hypnotically appealing both as a whole and in each of the tracks, but also proof that after a good few years of writing in a genre where it is really not difficult to find the same, JOB KARMA still has many ideas for absolutely magical music.” Paweł Frelik Trash’em All // 3/2003 “This album is a real charm, magic, ritual, a journey into infinity, brushing against the edge of the universe. Ebola is the perfect essence of what is best in ambient, ritual and industrial music. It is not without reason that I use such grand words - because Ebola became a true seed of a perfect connection of all these worlds. This is an album that presents what is visible, and thus what is above us - the Higher Powers. A real masterpiece! It is known that the album will be inscribed in the history of music around industrial. It is pleasing that this step has been taken in our country” Artur Mieczkowski // Anxious “The recipe combining electronically generated sounds with ambient samples still works brilliantly for Job Karma. If, on top of that, new ideas work so perfectly with the previously developed style, the result can only be an excellent album” postindustry.org “What you can discern in this amalgam are the whines and sighs from various electric devices Maciek Frett and Aureliusz Pisarzewski have been collecting for years, subtle synth melodies, looped electroacoustic noises, unequivocally industrial ironwork-type rambles and crashes, and of course samples and voices. The impressive skills aren’t the end in themselves, for Job Karma apparently plays emotion and seriously so it fails to be just enjoyable listening. Great work! “ Eld Rich Palmer fanzine “Job Karma’s fourth release is the latest highlight in the industrial scene” Paul Bijlsma - Phosphor Magazine

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0092/7504/8033/files/orig_12665746_19684590_20241209055007.jpg?v=1733773425
