The tracks' beats--handled mostly by producers Lord Relic, CaNNon, and Nas550, and often recorded at executive producer Bruce Willis's studio--are a lot stronger than what you might expect from such a project (\"Throw It Up\" and \"Envy\" in particular), but they don't overshadow the focal point: kids rediscovering hip-hop's essential mission of reporting from the streets. So what you get are real stories that often keep you on the edge, wondering what's going to happen next.
