I moved up there and put this band together (Deep Julia). We opened for Radiohead, Peter Frampton and Jewel. This is the record that transpired from my time there. It was produced by Marlon MacClain (Daz Band!!) and exec. Produced by Denny Foster \/Thomas MacElroy (En Vogue!!)?? in their amazing studio in Oakland. She also provided songs for the Canadian TV series Madison and the American TV movie Half a Dozen Babies. Now Shannon Moore brings her guts and grace to the mainstream with her FMA debut LTD. \u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eShannon Moore truly possesses all the ingredients needed for stardom. She's got the balls and gutsy vocal bravado of someone like Sass Jordan, but she has far more depth, and a more versatile songwriting ability. At times, Moore has an almost Chrissie Hynde-like feel to her voice, filling her vocals with dramatic inflections and soulful phrasing. \u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eYet, the most important thing to remember is that Moore is above all a top-flight songwriter and has had a development deal with Sony Music Publishing. But for her to remain in obscurity as merely a songwriter would be a crime. The native of Houston, Texas first came to Los Angeles to complete a communications BA at the University of Southern California. After graduation, she jumped right into the music business, spending three years with Sony before answering a call from the Canadian TV show Madison which is still syndicated internationally.
