Somehow, the PI crew had gained the blessing of The Metropolis, an all-ages gay disco complete with a light up dancefloor, invited Seattle's The Fartz to open (first time in Portland and featuring a pre-GnR Duff McKagan) and served up some sounds not previously heard. Apparently some substances, legal and otherwise, affected that evening's show as they ripped through the dozen and a half rapid-fire songs all captured on Young Lords. The result is a solid precursor for the Poison Idea sound we all know and love. This vinyl LP includes a booklet replete with pictures of the band at their young (lords) age.
