Recorded with producer Josh Kaufman (Josh Ritter, Craig Finn, Bob Weir) andwith the core of the band s touring line-up from the last several years, Guesthouse capturesthe rock energy of the band s live show which has topped best of lists at NewportFolk and SXSW. Guesthouse showcases frontman David Wax s most direct and personal songwritingto date, which isn t surprising given that since the last album over three years ago,he s married his band s co-creator Suz Slezak and the two have started their own familywith the arrival of daughter Calliope (named after the Greek muse of epic poetry). Thematically,the album celebrates the changing circumstances of life and paints a brilliant pictureof how the stakes have been raised a sentiment that has had a huge impact on how theband makes decisions.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0092/7504/8033/files/orig_1418241_31148758_20261003080328.jpg?v=1791062441
